Flair has over twenty refill flavours, organised into five collections: Cool, Warm, Sweet, Floral and Fruit. If you're new, the choice is paralysing. If you're not new, you've probably found a couple of favourites and given up on exploring the rest. This guide is for both of you.
We've ranked every flavour we currently make, grouped them by character, and called out the ones we think are essential, the ones we think are underrated, and the ones that genuinely divide opinion.
Top tier: start here
1. Crisp Mint
Our best-selling refill for a reason. Reads like fresh peppermint leaves rather than confectionery mint. Cool, clean, gives a slight sensation in the throat without anything actually being there. The closest analog to a menthol cigarette without nicotine. If you order one refill, this is the one.
2. Coffee
If Crisp Mint is the universal first refill, Coffee is the one that wins over the sceptics. It tastes like a roastery, not a syrup — dark, slightly bitter, faintly cocoa-like on the exhale. Pairs with everything; works particularly well as a morning flavour.
3. Spearmint
Crisp Mint's softer cousin. Less menthol bite, more leaf-forward. Good if Crisp Mint is too sharp. Many users keep both and switch by mood.
4. Vanilla
Gentle, comforting, never overpowering. The flavour we get the most messages about being "the one I keep going back to." Reads like vanilla pod, not a cupcake. Forgiving for first-time aromatherapy inhaler users.
The collections
Cool
Crisp Mint, Spearmint, Iced Peach. Cool-collection refills give you that menthol sensation in the airway. Best for ex-menthol smokers, mid-day stress moments, or anyone who finds warmer flavours too rich.
Warm
Coffee, Cinnamon Hearts, Maple Pepper. The boldest collection. Cinnamon Hearts is sharp red-hot cinnamon — bright, slightly spicy. Maple Pepper is a divisive favourite — maple sweetness with a black-pepper finish. Coffee is the gateway. Try Warm refills with a coffee or tea, not on an empty stomach.
Sweet
Vanilla, Black Licorice, White Cranberry. Vanilla and White Cranberry are gentle and friendly; Black Licorice is the most polarising flavour we make. Either you grew up loving licorice, in which case it's perfect, or you don't, in which case it's not. There is no middle ground.
Floral
Lavender, Green Tea, Passion Fruit. The calming collection. Lavender is the standout — soft, dried-flower, particularly good in the evening. Green Tea is the most subtle refill we make; some users love its understated profile, others think it's too quiet.
Fruit
Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Mango, Watermelon, Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit, Apple. The largest collection. Strawberry and Mango are the most popular; Lemon and Grapefruit are crisper, more grown-up; Watermelon is summery and light. Apple is divisive in the same way Licorice is — some find it too candy-like, others love it.

Underrated picks
If you've tried the obvious crowd-pleasers and want something different, these are the ones we think deserve more love:
- Maple Pepper — the most adult flavour we make. Not for everyone; transformative for people it clicks with.
- White Cranberry — understated, slightly tart, surprisingly versatile.
- Iced Peach — a Cool refill that drinks like a Fruit one. The summer afternoon flavour.
- Green Tea — quiet, but the ideal end-of-evening choice.
Divisive flavours
- Black Licorice — you know if you'll like this before you order it.
- Apple — reads candy-bright; love-it-or-not.
- Maple Pepper — the spice can be too much for first-timers.
How to choose if you're new
Pick three. Take one sweet, one cool, one warm. Most starter sets are configured exactly this way for a reason.
- For ex-cigarette smokers: Crisp Mint, Coffee, Vanilla
- For ex-menthol smokers: Crisp Mint, Spearmint, Iced Peach
- For ex-vapers: Strawberry, Mango, Crisp Mint
- For never-smoked / wellness use: Lavender, Vanilla, Green Tea
- For the adventurous: Coffee, Maple Pepper, Cinnamon Hearts
Storage and rotation
Refills keep their flavour intensity longest when stored capped, away from direct sunlight, and at room temperature. We recommend rotating between two or three open refills rather than using one to depletion — your nose adjusts faster than you think, and rotation keeps each refill feeling vivid.
What's next
We add new flavours every quarter. Recent launches that didn't make it into older guides include Magnetic Mount accessory pairings and seasonal limited-edition refills. Sign up to email if you want first access.
FAQ
What's the best Flair flavour?
Subjective, but Crisp Mint is the most reordered. Coffee is the most surprising-to-converts. Vanilla is the most universally liked.
How long does each Flair flavour last?
2–3 weeks of regular use per refill. Stronger profiles (Cinnamon Hearts, Black Licorice) feel intense for longer; gentler profiles (Vanilla, Green Tea) fade slightly faster perceptually.
Can I mix flavours?
Each refill is a single flavour core; you don't mix within one. But you can swap refills as often as you like and many users keep two or three open at any time. Are any Flair flavours stronger than others?
Yes. By bold-to-gentle: Cinnamon Hearts, Black Licorice, Coffee, Maple Pepper sit at the bold end; Vanilla, Green Tea, Spearmint, White Cranberry sit at the gentle end.
